Information We Do Not Collect
Route Radar does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other personal data.
Offline Map Packs
Route Radar allows you to download offline map packs for use without an internet connection. These packs are delivered via Amazon Web Services (AWS S3). The download process is anonymous — no account or identifying information is required, and we do not log who downloads what.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how the app is used in aggregate. All analytics data is anonymized and does not identify individual users. This data helps us understand which features are used and improve the app over time.
The analytics we collect includes things like:
- App opens and session length
- Which screens are viewed
- General device type and iOS version
- Crash reports
None of this data is linked to your identity. You can opt out of analytics collection at any time in your device settings under Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising or by enabling Limit Ad Tracking.
Third-Party Services
Route Radar uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Amazon Web Services — offline map pack delivery
- Firebase / Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics
Children's Privacy
Route Radar does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect personal information from any users.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
